HOPE

Just wanted to share something concerning the meaning of hope. There are 2 meanings.

H - Have
O - Only
P - Positive
E - Expectations

In another context, it could also mean this.

H - Holding
O - Onto
P - Prayer
E - Everyday

It seems it's like a direct reply to my previous post since I was reacting quite negatively as if there is no hope for me in fluids. Didn't expected this message to be preached during service today. :)

It's definitely a timely message for me that I don't lose HOPE even when the circumstances may not be in favor for me..

Just like Jairus (Luke 8:40-42, 49-56), he had placed his whole hope on Jesus to heal his daughter who was seriously sick at that moment. When he finally got Jesus to his house, he was informed that his daughter have just passed away. You could just imagine how Jairus have felt that time. Hopeless, disappointed, sad etc.

But then, as in the scripture, Jesus replied, "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed."

The key word here is to believe, to hold unto the promise of God and also to trust that He will do His part in the situation in which you are in now. (of course I have to do my own part as well)
