One word: Tough.
Personally, I am not that pleased when they cancel off the team event, and only have the individual event instead. Because of this, I have to meet up with all the strong players, especially from NTU - Alex and Kelvin.
For this tourney, I beat alex by luck (since he make a huge blunder in the end after leading in computer evaluations in the middle game), beat Aloysius Chia (1793) by a queen sacrifice with back rank mate as the theme, lost to Kelvin Wee (2047) fair and square, lost to another sg poly guy, who got first in the end (since he beat kelvin as well) due to fatigue and lack of concentration.
Overall result:
1. Sg Poly guy (5.5 pts. Forgot his name though)
2. Kelvin Wee (5.5)
3. Alex (5.5 - I screw up his standing by beating him on luck)
4. ME (5)
Well, not too bad a result since I hardly play online/analyzing chess nowadays due to school work. Basically, for SCF (Singapore Chess Federation) standard, I would consider my rating in between the 1800-2000 range for 15 minutes chess, since I actually beat all the 1700+ rating so far in SG. (for that time control)
So, in conclusion, guess I can only be a 'speed' player for now. Still, if only chess could be one of the career options, I certainly would be more dedicated in analyzing variations. However, the case is not now so far be it in Malaysia or Singapore.
P.S: SG rating list: http://www.singaporechess.org.sg/new/?p=11509 (for active + inactive players)
